Bro its ok xD, first of all the explanation is good, honestly i whouldnt mind if he eventually told the same he told to lucy and rebecca to the rest of the gang since it wasnt as much of a lie, the important part is that you didnt Reveal the Rebirth thing, that is just a No thing to do. The explanation was good, Vague, so lucy that has see one of them could theorize how did he get it, From Lucy and rebecca's perspective, David somehow got This OP nanites that arent impossible for them to exist, also david didnt lie, he really doesnt know how did he get them, so for them maybe its something that has to do with his past or something that his mother put on him, after all Gloria somehow find the Sevan, its not so crazy to think she somehow and luckily Find this OP and experimental tech and give it to his son, it whould make sense for what they know about Gloria and what david told them about her. The point is they can imagine themselves some logical background for david's nanites, but they know he is saying the truth and now they know how op he is. dont worry it was a good explanation, i also dont see the thing with keeping secrets unless it is a ''you are a fictional character'' secret, that is something you cant tell to people

Also relax about the nanites, we have seen a lot of OP BS nanites in fictions, and the fact you already established the types of nanites David had its enough. Personally i never had a problem with them

To those who arguing about nanotech The only limitation of its power is few. Could it reproduce for more quantity. Could it self compute. Could it upgrade its basic design. Second and third limitation is thrown out of the windows when you have 1 limitation broken. You could make its self reproduce and duck anything in your way. Or consume the planet

I’ve always felt like 90% of the BS that happens in TV shows or movies is because people never actually share info with anyone they say they trust so it screws everyone but the audience who can see the bigger picture

Eh, I mean, there is things you can and can not tell other people. He decided to take a risk and tell people he WANT to trust about part of his abilities, that would be pretty hard to hide otherwise. If they decided to double-cross him, eh, nanites are OP and people who think otherwise can be swiftly turned into fine grey goo.
