I think it was a requirement to truly enter the level of the 6 paths to have a dōjutsu, it would be perfect for Karin, to evolve it maybe use the cells of Isshiki Otsutsuki who is hidden somewhere recovering from his injuries. P.S: Please don't forget my recommendation, since you are adding OC another one could be Aki Hyuga, she is 7 years older than Neji and she was fond of him, she was trained hard to be Hinata's bodyguard, she desperately wanted attention from the main clan but she was not good enough, then she resented the main clan feeling like a thing, she even deserted the village for a while, now she is an Ambu with a specialty in murder and torture.
