It has been 5-6 months since the last chapter, hope you update once again with fresh ideias... you could give him the power to create Ancient Vampire (at Hybrid Klaus-level power, immune to sun & normal wood, has the same weakness as klaus), Noble Vampires (at Original-level power can be killed by normal wood but cant die from normal flames or exposure to sun and feels only slight burning sensation), Elite Vampires (normal hybrid-strenght with weakness of a normal vampire) and Normal Vampires at his will.

Let him be someone who gets stronger by drinking blood. He gets stronger depending on the quality of the blood. He may be able to get his abilities from the supernaturals he drinks his blood.
