Wov, this chap was epic. It was good that he killed him. Honestly, in a world where gods and primordals fk up reality as they please, I think it's not very realistic to gain power for free. If the author had just made a filler chaps about this character just because he's loved by people and only empowered Mc through perseverance, willpower and friendship, I would have left this fanfic.
Wasn't a fan of Luke dying but you at least seem to have Athos reap the rewards and consequences of his action. Objectively speaking, this Luke hasn't done anything wrong and has been nothing but a good dude to Athos. Sure maybe he was a little too eager to go on his quest, but he's a teenager. At least Athos isn't being a hypocrite. What I'd like to see is Athos exercising his guilt—be that caring for Luke's mother or maybe looking out of the Hermes cabin. From what I've seen, his morals aren't so far gone that he wouldn't do some of the above. Though he's more likely to take care of Luke's mother than anything else.
