Thanks for the chapter!! I can't wait for more!! Considering that the MC only took a flask worth of blood I'm still not entirely sure why he had to kill Luke, not that I'm complaining. I think this fanfic is still entertaining regardless. Please keep up the good work!!

when I was reading the series I really disliked Luke, but here he was actually a pretty good friend to the MC so him just killing him like that leaves a bad taste. MC seems like he's on track to becoming a god and being miserable AF once he is.

I just hope this fanfic doesn't go down the typical kill, kill, kill path.

Wov, this chap was epic. It was good that he killed him. Honestly, in a world where gods and primordals fk up reality as they please, I think it's not very realistic to gain power for free. If the author had just made a filler chaps about this character just because he's loved by people and only empowered Mc through perseverance, willpower and friendship, I would have left this fanfic.

Honestly I have zero issue with this. This really give me the God of War Kratos vibes and I love it. Kill all the gods, the bad or ignorant ones, at least.

Wasn't a fan of Luke dying but you at least seem to have Athos reap the rewards and consequences of his action. Objectively speaking, this Luke hasn't done anything wrong and has been nothing but a good dude to Athos. Sure maybe he was a little too eager to go on his quest, but he's a teenager. At least Athos isn't being a hypocrite. What I'd like to see is Athos exercising his guilt—be that caring for Luke's mother or maybe looking out of the Hermes cabin. From what I've seen, his morals aren't so far gone that he wouldn't do some of the above. Though he's more likely to take care of Luke's mother than anything else.

I think the MC should have acted a bit more discreetly and smartly. He should have used Ladon or some other monster for Luke's death like distracting him in battle or something. Now he might get caught if the gods are watching the quest.
