I don't like this chapter. Eli capturing a lich and telling it to "collect millions of souls" with no particular restrictions or requirements on quality is a recipe for millions of dead commoners. It unambiguously pushes our MC into the "evil" camp. And for what? Slightly faster cultivation speed? Does that matter to someone with the patience to spend hundreds of years to barely reach the 2nd circle? Is it really something that would tempt him? After all, there is no "great threat" looming over his head like in a lot of novels. There isn't really any external force pressuring him to get stronger quickly.
