Balance is important. I think there should be parts where he is serious instead of being sarcastic all the time. Half and half, it would be better if he used normal language for his loved ones and friends, and sarcastic, oppressive language for others. I don't understand why your expectations of Evalyn are so high. You try to protect the woman's happiness, but the other day you slap her with reality in an overbearing way.

I just started this story, does Kaze stay this way? “I would have had to do it if they hadn’t done it to the wife” is BS. There is apparently 6 days before the so called “apocalypse” and while I don’t don’t know what that will entail, you’re telling me he can’t hide one single woman for that period of time until everything assumingely hits the fan? Let’s say the apocalypse isn’t really an apocalypse and legal actions can still be taken against Kaze if for some dumb reason the wife spoke out against him, why would he care? He should have the faction by then, and the wife speaking out would be practically an impossibility as long as Kaze works this so called “charm” of his that you’ve hyped up so much. The chapter is called “Kaze’s true nature” so if he’ll be a character who can’t even protect one woman and would end her life if someone else hadn’t despite her being innocent and keeping her silent for just 6 days being a feasible option; then I would like to know now so I can drop this novel with the edgelord MC. This isn’t a “waaa the MC is a psychopath and is too ruthless” this was nonsensical and pathetic of the MC to say and do. Wanna know if he changes soon.

it all depends on the setuation. he has to have more in him than being pompus. living 5k years gives someobe more wisdom than acting pompus. i should hope that a person with so much exceperiance has the wisdom to know how to deal with diffrent setuation, and ppl. some things needs to be said yes, but u may say it 1 way to a friend, another to an enmey, and another to a lover, and anither to a parent or a family member. not just bc u were an emporer and used to ppl bowing down then u shouldnt be flexable. maybe if ge was an emporor fir 10 years yeah, but for 1k then no.
