I think he should get adopted by Michel and cam because his Mother was bff with them and now they could move out with him or instead he could get adopted with lily with mitch and cam and later discover he gain a fortune , and because his asian his talent and intelect is quite high

No entiendo porque Hayley mejor es Alex, si cambias de opinión podrías hacer que ellos salieran por una o dos temporadas pero no funciono y se convirtieron en mejores amigos o algo así entonces el protagonista se enamora de Alex simple no?. ..... Por cierto seria genial que hicieras un fanfic de "Como conocí a tu madre" o de "Chicas Gilmore" si no las has visto méralas te las recomiendo.
