if u make the scenes concise ull ve able to add more events in fewer chapters which will be a lot more stasfying. i scaned thro the last 20 chapters abd didnt miss a thing, practacly read 5 words out of every 10 pargraphs and got the point. constabtly repeating the same thoughts and assmutions takes way too much space time slows down the storys progress and makes it boring. so far 56 chapters coukd have easly been done in 20. with a lot more action and excitment, and better flow and faster progress. instead of always remenasing about every persons take thier plans assmutions, thats not to mention the mcs constant planing while he has not 1 single solid foundation and information about this world. he prfers to sit inside of a shark for three days talking to a rat and thinking about things that have nothing to do with his current predecumant than to actully take action abd think about whaf to do that will benfits him. and when its time to actully achive his goal he fails every time, how inept can u be to not be able to kill ur enmues when they r at ur mercey not one, not twice, but he will not kill the knight eather. i will bet everyone here that this will be a constant theme thro out the book, bc its been in a lot of books like this b4. and this style of writing and authirs r to cowardly with thier writing for some reason and never give a decent conclusion, and fear killing off charchters, which always leads to half a**ed ending, that is unsatsfying and weak.
