This is kind of an aside, but I always had the idea of an MC who is a bender, keeps their bending blocked, by Amon in this case, and then can trick whatever force gives abunch of people air bending during harmonic convergence to get a dual bending situation going on. Just get the avatar to unlock your initial bending afterwards.

no need for OCs. there are at least 5 interesting and beautiful wifus. just my humble opinion. keep up the great work <3
