🇧🇷 Hello and welcome back to the land of the living. I found this image and a few others that I believe fit Colt's style. I saw the image of the armor that will be officially used by Colt, at least for now he doesn't have the skills to build something very advanced, but I believe he gets there. I think, no, I'm sure Star Wars technology is a bit retro, and by so much, I mean a lot. I'm not against it, but it's not my favorite sci-fi style when it comes to aesthetics. And there's that part of the chapter where Colt is designing the kyber blaster, he states that although the technology is very advanced, there is a great lack of other basic technologies. Something that I don't think has meant that several fields of technology haven't progressed much, like touch screen technology and other things. But think. The main cause for this is the lack of infrastructure and non-governmental companies, after all, both are some of the main responsible for the technological development available. And the government does not encourage private initiative, and this is from long before the empire. Some of the greatest geniuses responsible for the coolest technologies in the franchise were under the control of some government that was not the republic or was independent. It's a shame that the franchise didn't focus on technology, even though spaceships and robots were very present, they were just there as a backdrop to the story. Some robots were very important to the history of the franchise, but as characters in their own right, not as pieces of advanced technology. If the author wants me to post more images, just reply... Who am I kidding? I'll post more pictures anyway. 🇧🇷
🇧🇷 I agree with my friend's opinion. In a fictional world, energy shields are not an option, they are a necessity and an absolute requirement. Unfortunately the advancement of technology in the Star Wars world is very confusing and scrambled. On the one hand they have hyperspace travel, but on the other they don't have airships with aerodynamic design, or almost nothing. It seems that a lot of basic technology ended up being lost and forgotten in history, this meant that various types of devices and their more advanced versions, which could be very useful, ended up never even being designed, much less created. It even seems that the discovery and development of very advanced technologies occurred very early, causing the foundations not to have been reinforced, lacking diversity, this meant that several fields of engineering have been neglected. I'm not saying that the technology and engineering in Star Wars is bad, just weird and with a lot of glaring inconsistencies. I will also post a sci-fi image to support the cause. 🇧🇷
Thank you for the chapter! Have my power stone! Also personal shields are a thing in Star Wars mainly the old republic era of you wanted to look into it. They weren’t that commen because the shields gave off too much radiation for a organic life to use that often and as far as I now no one was able to make one that could contain the radiation and get a decently strong shield. Don’t know if you want to encorperate this but if lore in your FF though?
