I'm confused. Where did these people come from? What are they fighting for? What are they trying to steal?

I think we skipped a chapter or 2.
ruined the story with missing chapters but still posting new chapters ?
there is so much skipped it ruins the the flow of the story
This is too bad... Even in the next chapters i don't see the little sparrow anymore... It was change to a skeleton... I'm so confused and disappointed.
