Comments of chapter undefined of Marvel: Son of Poseidon

I mean it honestly doesn´t really matter if you kill him. he is a non-entity at this point, so weak he can´t fight back even if he wanted to.

why is everyone up in arms about not killing him. like he said triton was played for a fool for centuries as well as the spartan. it's like killing a rat for eating your drywall to make a burrow. it's not the rats fault that it wanted a home it's yours for letting it in.

Dude its okay if the mc did not kill Triton but not punishing him is STUPID. Make Triton redeem himself by either punishing just him or his whole family. Make it such that Triton can't be with his family or that he can't have any children or that his child or his wife will be weak in health and to solve that Triton would really have to earn forgiveness from the Mc. No man would ever forgive the murderer of his wife and child whether that person was manipulated or brainwashed, without punishing that person until they earned forgiveness. Someone gave an example of batman and Joe chill, joe chill was in the prison for a long time. He did not escape his punishment thats why batman forgiving Joe chill makes sense.

well in my personal opinion the other guys dropped this is because how you easily forgive triton for everything he did to the mc, even though you want to show that the mc was not like other god or the like. but still forgiving your wife and son killer easily without punishing him was just over for me, you can at least throw triton to prison or ban him from meeting his wife and child to be, until he gain forgiveness from the mc. at least make triton feel what the mc feel even if it was for a bit

Sparing Triton is acceptable, even desirable for character development and stuff. I dislike the way he was spared though. If you’re experiencing a literal godlike wrath, seeing the ghost/memories of your beloved can give you enough clarity to walk away and deal with it once you’ve chilled a bit. The monologue would’ve fit better in a “why would the new god of the seas spare his family’s murderer?” scenario. Having said that, I completely agree with the desicion, and I look forward to our MC adjusting to a godly family dynamics.

Dude, I agree with your decision not to kill him, but I also don't think he should go unpunished, in my opinion it would be more realistic and well constructed if you punished Triton in some way. Anyway, thanks for the chapters.

I agree with not killing Triton, also in the future can you make the mc not date anyone but still only love his now deceased wife.

Even if triton is being fooled..he is not innocent either. im fine author spared him but he rightfully deserved some kind of punishment. Like being imprison? Lock away from his people..his family..they can ofc but thats it..at least he is alive

Good on you author. Could it have been handled well by giving a peek into the Mc's mindset and how he reached the conclusion not to kill Triton? Sure! But what you have done isnt too bad especially by webnovel standards. Its perfectly justifiable

Honestly I don’t see why people are angry over the choice not to kill Triton.

This is stupid. He goes from wanting to only have a weapon made from human materials to wanting to be a god? Inconsistent.

Based on the development in every Triton POV the author shows, let you know even before their final fight that he will be spared. And having the MC punish Triton? How? Torture or other physical damage is against the character of the MC; I read some comments say to tear apart their family but isn't that the reason why the MC fights, because someone takes away his family? If it's alright for the MC to break families, then he doesn't have a right to complain if someone breaks his family. Also, the MC and Triton are strangers to each other, their interaction with each other is only under 30 mins and most of it is fighting. Is the MC a lord now and Triton the servant just because of a fight, and Triton needs to obey whatever punishment the MC says? If there's someone who can punish Triton then it's only Zeus, but he already said his stance in this civil war.
