Personally, I enjoyed the direction of the story. Unfortunately theVampire diaries and originals story line is fairly restrictive and with the main character as powerful as this one there's not a lot of meaningful interaction left in that world. The only choice is to either and the story or we are continue the story in another world with more meaningful character interactions and potentially, characters who can rival his power. You did write yourself a new corner before you jump to worlds and I always felt that was a reason you jumped worlds. It was the correct choice. But at the end of the day it's your story and if you don't have the desire or Passion to keep writing it then stop. Don't force yourself if it's something you don't enjoy doing.
It was good, I like your writing style. But if you do drop this or bring it to an abrupt end, could you maybe do a Vampire Necromancer fanfic please? There's so little Vampire fanfics it's heart breaking, not to mention Necromancer fanfics always get dropped. With the way this fanfic went, you know you killing Main Characters out the wazoo, I genuinely believe you will thrive with a Vampire Necromancer MC do to them main being evil and enslaving the living and dead. But this is just an idea.
Why not move to black lagoon by having the devil capture him and sending him out of his world because he was disrupting his gun? (doesn't have to be black lagoon but I thought it would be a fun place for him to mess around and maybe even get with Balalaika before he out lives the universe and as it is imploding in on itself he gets flung through reality and end up where you want him 'black lagoon could be a small side stop for him to relax and not care about any responsibilities')
The story isn't boring mate, I'm really enjoying it. If you want more interesting scenarios you could make this story like Sliders (old sci-fi, travelling alternate realities TV show), where the mc travels different universes, e.g. Dc, Marvel, Harry Potter, Game of Thrones, etc. Trying to find his way home while having fun screwing around in each universe he goes to. That way you can keep writing the character we all love and freshen up the story whenever a setting gets boring to you.
