In my humble opinion, the Mc should not conquer the rest of the North, he already has too vast lands to worry about, even if they are extremely cold, the Mc's concern should be to conquer that big island that is almost the size of a country , which is on the Game of Thrones map, which is close to the lands where he lives, so that from the Island he can go further south, he doesn't need a lot of land in the south, but he needs at least enough to make some plantations of plants acclimatized to hot weather, cotton and things like that, to be planted in cold weather is more complicated, even if he gets cacao seeds to make chocolate or anything else like that, he needs the right climate, Rubber tree to make rubber, coffee etc. So controlling so many territories will sometimes just give you a headache.
Agree. Instead of using the wall to keep wildlings out can be use to keep the 7 kingdoms out of the true north’s new utopia. And we don’t know much about the real white walkers george rr martin said that they are not ice zombies but another race of people that happen to live in the world so who’s to say that the night king ain’t no king but some exile rouge prince (like daemond) trying to make a name for himself by conquering lands their ancestors failed to take and the real night king has no need or aspirations on other kingdoms and just wants to enjoy life. George rr showed us just like in out world every civilizations have both good and bad people and that we can’t never make assumptions about a whole group of people do to the actions of a few and that the history we think we know might not be a fact.
I don’t know going to Ned. Stark seems like a weak move. I mean that’s what powerful monarchs do they order others to come to them. I think it’s a mistake to go to his kingdom. Also the simple fact that a Mesenger was able to travel in his lands is a huge insult. He should have put some kind of structure at the wall to prevent them from coming to the north. He couldn’t just send a messenger to Winterfell. The smartest thing I believe to have done is to ignore the letter and the invite.
