I genuinely don't think being friends with someone's dark side is pathetic. If anything, character development begins with accepting one's shadow. I'm not sure if this is the same route that Ryoko will take as the story progresses though. Ryoko's character seems really interesting as it is, but I'm also curious about how her adventures in the story can affect her, her relationship with Toshiba, and her relationship with other people. There is definitely a promising potential there. I also just realized that the hyphenated text weren't whispers, but normal dialogues (am I right?) And the sentences in quotation marks are internal thoughts? So I really just wasn't used to the writing styleđ Good work so far!
While reading this I noticed a few things and mainly a few phobias, one which was obvious was autophobia, and I hated how her other half took advantage of that, it hurt to read because I used to have a friend like this, but anyways, I liked how she saw through his deception and chose the right path, even though what happened was a bit messed up and honestly hard to see happen, I felt like it was something that was needed to happen to her and also while reading I saw a few things, like change and how all of this created a cause and effect that was honestly so realistic that it brought all the pieces together for the past chapters. Thanks for the chapter and your amazing work author â¨
