Elijah was certainly a tormented soul. Though born much later and from a different mother, he had the face of his imprisoned brother. I wonder if his habit of wearing the mask was because of Zeke's guilt towards Sebastian? Elijah could never openly be himself and his isolation (whether self imposed or other), made him an easy target for the witch. Once Seb returned to freedom, I think Elijah was hoping for some recognition from him, but because of his own (Elijah's) behaviors, Seb wanted nothing to do with him. In the end, Elijah just wanted his life over, but because of the witch's control, he couldn't do himself in. So he created the situation where there would be no other choice than for someone else to kill him. That prophecy said he would sit on the throne. He did, albeit for only a very short time. And he finally was acknowledged by the brother I think he worshipped in some way, even if it was as an enemy to be killed. Alex and Zeke would fight with each other until neither could still stand as good brothers sometimes do. I think Elijah wanted that kind of relationship with Sebastian, but it could never happen. We know Elijah wasn't completely bad because of his fur babies. They were the only ones who didn't judge him based on his face or his apparent behaviors. Elijah was the troubled teen who eventually became an addict and chased his own destruction. Would it have turned out differently if he didn't bear such a resemblance to Sebastian? If he didn't look like Seb would he have received Zeke's love instead of his guilty conscience? We shall never know (unless Kazzen decides to write an alternate universe version of this story).Thanks for the chapters. ๐
Did Elijah wanted to d ie from his brother's hands from early on? Why? is it about the cur SE or just for his misery to end? Maybe he didn't want to be in the witch' control anymore? was there really someone controlling him?Poor Elijah must be suffering from the start wanting his brothers recognition? Did Zeke Seb Kai and Kyle care for him? I'm just wondering, coz he's all alone๐ฅบ๐If there is some consolation, glad though that Elijah got what he wanted this time around. Seems like Elijah had enough & was done with living & wanted to die under Sebastianโs hands.๐ฌ I wonder why?๐ค Maybe Elijah was sick & tired of the crazy witch & her schemes. I wanted Elijah gone because of his evil ways, but with what he said to Sebby in the end I really don't know how I'm feeling. He did have a good side but the evil was more dominant whether because of the witch or the supposed curse on the Regin family. And leaving Elle to care foe his fur babies interesting
