I feel like Peter could have tried to be above board with the avengers on this. considering the political clout he has and connections formed. but hey.... why would that make sense. I am concerned about it hurting him later down the line.

Have the Ancient One help you with creating a hammer space storage. You can’t just leave these stones sitting around no matter how many spells you put in place to protect them. You need to remove them from the physical plane and set them in a separate dimensional space so they can’t be detected and/or stolen.
