I feel the upcoming war will be full of plot twists. What I don’t understand is the mc’s warped thinking of the world’s predestined fate while he has a literal lovecraftian god looming over him. A fate twister (god) might see the events of canon uninteresting, thus leaving the inheritance of Joy Boy a mystery. From what I’ve seen, Luffy’s importance is only limited to the mc. And that importance is based on a different version of the universe he currently finds himself reciting. Well, enough about what might or might not be. This is a great story.
