...I am a little disapointed. Videl needed less than a month to find her ki and learn to fly. Gotten managed to do it on his first try. Now here we have gohan (highest potential/talent) who needed more than a year just to find his ki.....and after that he waited until the last year to ask for training? What's worse is that Cohan didn't even tried to learn ki skills like solar flash, power up, destructo disk, yamcha homing missle, tiens cloning technique, etc. Like seriously.....and now the mc wants to be taught/spar by less than 500 units piccolo instead of learning the kaioken on a plant with ×10 times gravity?
....I can understand Cohan wanting the super ultra water.... but WHY would he drink it at the start of the training? The water gives better gains the more stronger the drinker is. So logically the best time to drink the water is the last week before the sayian battle when Cohan already trained and used the senzu seeds for zenkai boosts. When Cohan is at his strongest.
The story is very good. The only thing that bothers me is when Gohan declares something he shouldn't know, or makes it clear that he knows something. Also, it doesn't make sense for Gohan to declare power levels in numbers, he doesn't have a Scouter and neither do the other Z fighters. They recognize the strength of someone sensing their Ki.
