Truly enjoyed this chapter. They are influencing each other positively. What stood out to me is Ares promising her he would take care of the witch. She is obviously much stronger but he takes the role of the man and the protector so naturally. I really love that about him. I feel that his survival instinct that is a strong part of him hasn't kicked in yet which makes me wonder if there could be a reason. He is a pirate so perhaps he always expected "a merry life and a short one" and is living by the motto and when death comes it comes. He needs that one thing that pushes him to wish he could live so badly. His relationship is growing with Naz but it hasn't reached the point yet where he can see himself building a life with her. I think that would change how he sees death.
Just loving these two the more they get adapted to each other with their lively and lovely dynamics together. πππ Also this is just as marvelous as with the main lead couple, Malachi and Ravina; as Author Jasmine has showcased the significant perspectives both of and with their counterparts.πππ

That's so sweet .Nazneen is trying to get Ares to fall in love with him and even trying to learn to cook. Ares helping remove Nazneen's old skin, I wonder if that is something that only the breedmate is allowed to help with or if there is more of a meaning behind it. It's funny because Ravina likes helping Malachi remove his old skin also. It good to see that they are all getting along better with their breedmates.
