WOW… I am actually happy to hear that Ares love runs this deep for Ravina. I didn’t think he cared this much or was this tormented over it… But I am confused as to why he thinks she is better off with Malachi… Is it solely because he still believes he will die? I do still think Malachi is the best choice for Ravina but… How can you not love a man like Ares? ☹️😭

I wouldn't say Ares is "deeply in love" with Ravina but that doesn't mean it isn't painful to see her sitting beside another man and to know that man can give her what he can't and to see her doing well with another man even if he is happy for her. It is a lot to endure sitting there. I think the reason some are surprised by his feelings is because he isn't one to complain. He always stays calm and strong and that usually makes us look past the persons pain and think they aren't that hurt. I am not surprised he feels this way. I remember the days before he let her go, how he was acting and trying to keep it together and the sacrfice he made as a person who "takes what he wants" to let her go for her own good already speaks volumes about how he felt about her. If he didn't feel so deeply for her, he would have just kept her by his side but seeing her so tormented he did the difficult thing to let her go. You don't do that just for anyone.
This chapter really made me emotional. When I think I can't love him more, he just proves me wrong. Despite his own turmoil, he is still concerned for Nazneen and stands up for her. You can see that he cares deeply about those he allows into his life and he feels responsible for them. Even knowing she is a dragon, he still regretted letting her go alone 🤧😢💔❤💗
Ares opening up to Nazneen (even if it's just a few bits of himself) is a surprise. I guess he had to let it out, and be free. Glad Nazneen was there to listen and I'm sure she could give him some comfort with all the talk they're having and vice versa as well. They would have to learn to trust each other more as they've got only each other. I'm sad for Ravina and Ares though (I did ship them after all) I felt Ares pain when he talked about letting her go🥺😥💔They can't even talk freely (well maybe someday, for some closure and deeper understanding of things that's going on🤞🙏) tack Jazzy! let the pillow talk continue
Question! 🙋♀️ Please correct me if I'm wrong somewhere. The dragons have a breadmate that they mate and feel strongly connected to. There is only one destined breedmate that they wait for. The dragon instinct is choosing the right breedmate based on their health, fertility, strength, reliability, etc. Dragons can detect all the above through senses such as smell. If dragons choose their breedmate based on their reproductivity and health why is it that dragons have only one destined breedmate? Wouldn't they look for healthy and strong partners? And dragons don't get sick, well... used to😅. What is the deciding factor that selects only one destined breedmate? 🤔
Love the chapter but I just feel so bad for Ares. I knew he liked Ravina but I didn’t think he loved her as he does. It must of been very hard for him to let her go but maybe because he felt he was going to die. As for Nazneen I’m glad he was able to open up to her without her getting upset or jealous over him being engaged or loving that person.
