Meh. The board is set. Just flip the board. Assassinate a couple people that are against him and have new people with new ideas take up the role. There is a reason everyone has a bodyguard. That’s how you play the game at the top. The princes and princess tried and failed. Rui might try and fail, but it’s the fastest. Maybe not the most reliable plan, but hey, humans are fragile and can die to a bunch of things.

he can't push him to the next realm in this time frame and he can't truly give up because of his promise with the Sage its either a gamble on himself reaching the next realm or a spar bet between him and a master he simi beat a master before another battle with the refined angel of Laplace might be the push he need to reach master realm himself then he will head to the beast domain with a much higher chance of finding the doctor

Dam this is getting really boring to read. It’s so obvious what’s going to happen that it’s hard to maintain interest at this stage. I might have to take a break and wait for this arc to be over as it’s definitely my least favourite by far, zero tension, zero stakes as the outcome is already too obvious.
