Dam this is getting really boring to read. It’s so obvious what’s going to happen that it’s hard to maintain interest at this stage. I might have to take a break and wait for this arc to be over as it’s definitely my least favourite by far, zero tension, zero stakes as the outcome is already too obvious.
yeah it’s suspicious that all the candidates are bad. It’s definitely being setup for some sort of twist.
Author has done a great job at attempting to finish off where it was left off! A huge amount of effort has gone into this and it really does feel like a realistic continuation, which is honestly super impressive, considering the standard of this novel and world building involved is extremely dense. I look forward to the authors future works, they definitely seem to have a lot of potential.
After the fights that he’s had with abominations and the realisation that they have bodies 2 levels higher than beasts. I think the future solution will be Shang figuring out how to form abominations from that black energy core which he is also made of. Once he figures out how to manipulate this energy he’ll probably use that to solve his problems which will also turn him further into an abomination, but will also raise his physical power yet again. I imagine that he’ll become more and more abomination over time but will an elevated mind which he predicated to be a superior form of being. There will definitely need to be another big power up either in his King or Emperor stage to prepare for his fight with God and I think him becoming more or either full abomination will be part of that transformation.
Yeah, I don’ see how that would work, as remember the ranks are constantly shifting around they aren’ static. So if you were rank 6 then jumped to rank 3 but rank 3 already had their turn then you would miss out if it gets passed down. It was never made perfectly clear who gets to use it 2nd. But if Kevin got to use it after just 1 month it didn’t really make sense for him to get so upset for missing out.
