Okay. This chapter has been a giant bomb. As is the case with this arc, we are slowly peeling off the layers of questions that we have surrounding Rui and the higher levels of power. Man I can't wait for other reveals.

Crazy theory: What if the martial squire that the orphanage hired to break down the tree was also planned/ manipulated in order to set Rui on the path of martial artist. After all, how could an orphanage that struggled with buying food have the funds to hire a martial squire just to cut down a tree?

Could be a sage/transcendent that has noticed his reincarnation and is keeping tabs on him. though i doubt he/she would need others to watch him as their powers seem to be quite outragous.

Just to clarify, he hasn’t yet met with the Sea Princess yet right? It’s her and the commoner prince that he hasn’t met. I wonder what kind of reaction they’ll both have after their brother, the martial prince, stops working against those two.
