realistically forcing a breakthrough shouldn’t be beneficial long term to someone’s drive. while it may be beneficial to get to senior… what about a sage? i mean kane doesn’t want to be left behind but what are the mental ramifications of having forced a breakthrough to senior down the road when trying to become a martial sage. that along with the fact that if he is being left behind even though he forced a breakthrough too early? that could destroy his whole path down the line.
