I can’t even imagine what they did to him. And I’m preparing myself for heartbreak to know his story

Oof. I feel like I know what they did to him. Just thinking about it makes me sad. What is it that he finds release in besides the pills and booze? I hope he doesn’t overdose. Rhys needs a lot of help mentally. Hopefully Beatrix can help him beat his defensive door down and let her and Damian help him.

In this chapter I felt the intensity of his pain and suffering, the depth of his loathing and rage, how terrified he is and his helplessness. I felt like I just wanted to hug him and comfort him. I hope he will come out of his trance sooner. Except for little repetition this chapter was awesome.
