Definitely digging the slow burn in this novel. I wasn't sure how the romance could happen but I'm pleasantly surprised with the slow development. The more they rely on eachother and the more secrets they share, the closer they get. I'm almost getting Sherlock and Watson vibes from their escapades š¤ I love them getting into trouble and having to solve problems. š„ø I'm still impatiently awaiting Vince to come to terms with his feelings a bit better. š©

Vincent! Vincent! Vincent! You are jealous without even realizing it! You are trying to suggest that she is downgrading from you in picking Henry but doing it in a joking manner is only going to cause more confusion and misunderstandings! You need to just grab her and kiss her because we all know you want to! If you do that your feelings for will surely be revealed! Eve! Eve! Eve! You know you are relieved that Vincent was there! You know he is the only person you feel comfortable and safe with! He is also the only person you trust! You are frustrated because he irritates you but only because he makes your heart go thump, thump thump! You are angered because you think he is playing games with you! You need to let your guard down and make a move! When he is irritating you, you need to grab him and kiss him! He will kiss back! Patrick obviously has not learned his lesson and yes, he is a fly that Vincent needs to swat away. I do not trust him! I have a feeling he will abduct Eve to keep her for himself! Henry seems like a good man but Iām sure he has a flaw! I am only wondering what it can be! I would think he could turn on Eve in a momentās notice! Well this is going to be an interesting lunch. I donāt think Eve caught the hint that a human is a downgrade from her previous werewolf interest. Meaning that anyone whoās worthy of her would be no other than a merman or a crazy pure blood vampire that wouldnāt kill her aka Vincent. Vinceās interest towards Eve is pretty transparent now but I donāt think heās ever going to confess that to Eve. Heās dropping hints and flirts left and right. Not to mention that every where she goes, heās there. Could be that heās in denial as well. Maybe the rich human should drop a bombshell to get some feelings and emotions stirring in the pure bloods heart, because to Eve, Vince is just toying with her for fun. š¬ Letās stir up some drama š
