O. M. G. Another cliffhanger!!! 😭😭💀💀 Eve is really in big trouble, no backups or anything. Now that person who witnessed will definitely report it to the unknown-name authority. 😥 Did Noah spoke to the Blacksmith couple?? It's a time coincidence Eve talked to them first and later on, they are long gone. If it's not Noah, then someone is trying to cover up the case of Rebecca's death.
Noah is a werewolf. Werewolves are not known for pulling out hearts. However, it is a common thing for vampires and demons. I don’t believe we have met any demons…unless Noah is half demon…or half vampire. So far, I am still leaning towards Noah knowing more about Eve and her mother…and his father being involved in the death of Eve’s mother. This story is getting very interesting. Who is the dead man? Was Vince around her travel home that night? Was Marceline or the uncle following? I really want to know who the dead man is and his connection. What precipitated the sudden departure of the blacksmith and his wife? Did they really relocate…or are they no longer amongst the living? The complexity of this story has reached a new level! In the years past, before there was internet…way before my favorite author was Victoria Holt. She wrote under many pen names, including Jean Plaidy and Phillips Carr. She wrote historical novels and gothic style. Ash Knight’s books remind me of her. Victoria Holt had the ability to draw you in, make your heart race, and keep you guessing. She started writing in the 1940’s under the name Jean Plaidy and died in the 1990’s. I still have many of her books. They are keepers and so are Ash’s books. I only have a few authors in WebNovel I compare to such accomplished authors as Victoria Holt. Ash is definitely one of them. AOTN is definitely bringing me back to my early reading days. Can you say cliffhanger? Oh my goodness! Ash! What an ending! Eve is going to be blamed for murder but somehow I am expecting Vince to get her out of trouble again which will only result in her owing him more! So the blacksmith and his wife sure left quickly! I suspect Noah had something to do with that! It appears Noah is trying to keep Eve from finding out the truth about her mother’s murder! I still belive the shaggy thing Eve saw at the top of the stairs that 1st night in the manor where her mother was killed was Noah in his wolf form! Noah knows who killed her mother but he is protecting the truth from coming out! Why? And who killed the wealthy man Eve stumbled across? He obviously died the same way her mother did? Was that Noah’s kill? Or the same person who killed her mom? Lots of questions! Ash, wow! Anxiety filled until next update!

earlier I was having trouble with our internet here then tried using data instead; not even a page would load and I can't even post a comment 🥲 But I'm gonna be so much anxious for Eve 'cause she's in total grave danger 😩😫 was this a setup for her? I mean someone seems to be preventing or blocking Eve to not know who's behind the murder of her mother. I'm speculating that Noah has a hand on this; or could there be someone else whom we don't know who's behind all this? 👀😳 I'm still reminded of that "shaggy thing" that was on top of the stairs in the manor where Rebecca and Eve stayed that was watching them on the first day; the butler was scolding them bcs they were (almost) caught in one of the rooms where they used the bathtub for Eve's bath. with another cliffhanger, can she be saved again by her "blood master"??? 😩😣 I'm so jittery nervous and scared for Eve. 😨😱
looks like someone doesn't want Eve learn truth about her past but why? only Noah saw her after talking with blacksmith so it's highly possible it was him. also this murder may be him too. he was walking there suspiciously the day before. i just hope the dead man isn't blacksmith becuz that would complicate a lot of things😬
I'm not so worried about the situation because the town is either on Noah or Vincent jurisdiction, and since our lady is no vampire, it will be troublesome but not impossible to get rid of it. Now, my biggest concern goes to that someone who is making witnesses disapear with money. I really dont like the fact that someone is on step ahead without knowing if he's good or bad. Get your sherlock hat guys, it's time to solve mystery 😆
