Mrs. Moriarty seems to be his stepmother.

This family is about to take the chaos direction in future. I hope Mrs.Moriarty doesn't do anything more against Eve but I bet she will. Based from Eugene, It's also not about keeping their business private or stay low from the society, they are hiding their real identity.

The current Mrs. Moriarty is Vincent's stepmother based on that skirmish in the hallway. The mother insists on not getting a governess for her daughter as she deems it unnecessary; while on the other hand with Vincent, he's just doing his duty as an elder brother for his younger sister and insinuated that Allie's not being properly taken care of. No wonder, the stepmother's against hiring a governess and never will there be one working in their mansion. Also thinking why she's so fuming about it is bcs they don't want any of their family secrets be revealed to those who are not of their own class. Now then, will Eve stay there as Vincent says so? 😐 This stepmother of his will surely give our Eve a hard time working here. 😒🙄

This reminds me of Damien’s family a bit. Snotty, impossible stepmother….. And his dad seems to be passive if Vince and the wife fight over control. Hopefully Allie doesn’t turn out like Grace. She shouldn’t with someone like Eve looking over her. And her amazing big brother of course 😂. But like our dear Penny I’m guessing sweet Eve can expect some drama from the step mother and probable Marcelle too.

It's clear as day that Vincent and his step mother don't get along. The friction is too much it could create sparks and even light a 🔥 my God. Poor Eve has to be torn between these two adults. I did not like how this woman degraded her though. Yes she comes from a low status family but she's not an old rug to rub your feet on. She's human too like you all. I hate this so much.
