If author is going to retcon the systems sentience that breaks the entire flow of the novel to this point. I’d either stick with it being intelligent or go back and edit the previous chapters to maintain consistency… Also not a huge fan of MC choosing to be a twig. I’d of just gone with a typical healthy young adult physique. Oh well.
