Here is my hypothesis:I wonder If there is any chance that the jester / god isn't another version of Shang. From the Red black color Theme, the fact that the God only used physical means to interact with anything and that he could give Shang the child of calamity trait means he has connections to the abominations. My guess is the abominations are necessary to the world so that the Mana does not wreak havoc when there is to much of it. So that there always has to be a child of calamity and someone who assigns it which is why he probably still is around. Hope i'm wrong though.
