Something tells me there is way more to this…. Like does the current god want the abominations to eventually consume the world so he can restart, are the abominations just another side show to make his entertainment more interesting. If the abominations win and consume all the mana in the world where does that leave the current god or is he really above all that and the mage god didn’t realize it??

Here's my guess ---- He's gonna kill every single being... Human, beast, every single mana left in the world and challenge God himself... Because then he can recreate the world without the Abomination. Meaning, without him... (and that's how the bing bang was created)

Thought back to this chapter recently, and decided to just post my theory of what the story will become. I'm guessing the God is the source of the abominations, and absorbs all the mana they 'destroy'. He just needs a catalyst for the abominations to grow strong enough, so he chooses a child of calamity to do such. He also isn't probably the God of this world, but rather goes to from one to another absorbing more mana each time.
