I hope Icarus keeps his hubris. He is essentially someone that follows the rule of man, living under the rule of gods. He is basically a heretic. He questions the gods constantly. He might come to understand the gods, but he is a human and his freedom is basically a lunatics struggle, if you look at the situation properly. In the age of gods, freedom is rebellion and I feel like Icarus might end up like a lucifer type figure for the olympians and end up demonised for his actions, or end up in tragedy, as the original Icarus did. As a servant his legend might be about his struggle to attain freedom or it might be about his arrogance to try and control his life fully and be without the gods influence whether they are blessings or curses.
from what I have seen so far he can be a Saber since he is learning the sword, Lancer since he wants to learn everything and probably every weapon as well, Rider because well can he be a rider because of his wings I think he can and also Paimon, then there is Berserker when he was facing Paimon's brethren he showed potential for one, Caster because divine words learning, Archer because of again wanting to learn all of the weapons and obviously because of his bow, and finally I am not sure about assassin because he has shown almost no assassin like behavior so far maybe in the future with his gadgets but so far no, To sum it all up he can be all classes except assassin and I dunno about foreigner
only as a backup idea why don't the goddesses give offerings to have certain backups as in the case of hestia such as certain items that are associated with their symbol or representative animal such as a torch with a danmachi emblem or pajamas from the future with a theme of donkey in different colors or hair accessories
I thought of this recently but what if he forges legendary weapons that could be like only one that goes to make their dreams into reality and has conquered this city (Athens) can pull this sword out for Iskander aka Alexander the great and others maybe thus getting more noble phantasms in the grind even after his death and inspiring future generations
Two things, Firstly I just thought of a question I should address, since it said that Icarus in his previous life knew about Nasuverse and was a fan of it, does he know the potential of pure skill, Secondly, I have realized when in deep meditation (was just very bored) that there is a very big foreshadowing about Icarus that I will not say because of obvious reasons, and if you are thinking about it, no I am not talking about his father
