Good chapter! She the Pokémon Breeder? And I want to see him use a Sableye/Banette and a Wailord. Going to need a Pokémon to move around the water ways. I also like the idea of a ghost type that sits in his shadow for protection. The best addition would be a Zangoose. Always enjoyed the Zangoose and Seviper rivalry.

ABSOLLLLL. My all time favorite pokemon. Never EVER even seen absol be mentioned in other Pokemon Fanfics, I'd love if Dilon could get one. I think Absol is underrated. Been my favorite Pokemon since I watched the Jirachi movie like 7 years ago.

A fletchling/talonflame would be cool. Only ever seen it once in a ff that was dropped shortly after it was introduced. It’s become one of my favorite flyers.

I know pretty much every pokemon fanfic has one but he should get a gengar, its the OG ghost Pokémon. And simply it’s the coolest. Also I though that Pokémon rangers weren’t allowed catch Pokémon in pokeballs and that they could only use the stylus, though they usually have a Pokémon partner that there frienda wuth

Have ralts learn healing pulse and gravity so he and his pokemon and maybe flannary too do gravity training DBZ style and then heal afterwards.

I have to say, besides dragons (because they are the best) my favorite pokemon from a typing standpoint has got to be aegislash. ghost/steel makes it immune or resistant to dang near everything.

I don't remember any fics having salamence, aggron as well

Yo I think Roserade or Dusknoir wouldnt be bad you'll be able to get their pre evolved forms in Hoenn quite easily.

well ive read this about 3 times now, im glad reading a pokemon fic like this that builds the scene around the mc. looking forward to all future chapters, the waiting sucks for the new ones but hey that happens with novels you enjoy
