This pretty much confirms the mc is gonna inevitably save humanity right. I dont understand what kind of novel ends with the protag killing off all those that he fought to protect over the length of the story. Ive seen this done many times where the novel the story is based on doesnt make any sense and is crafted more to benefit the actual mc than the novel protag.

MC kills the people because he knows that he can't save the world but he knows that someone in the expedition is the real savior and have a chance to regress so killed the people in a tempt to create a new time line. :D

Also, if he knows that the protagonist is the enemy then why did he bother to fight on the same battlefield, he could have run to a far land, or chosen to work in shadows (like thieves, assassins, spies...etc). For all he care about, he could find away to join the demons.

The second death is way better than the first but still, the end is wired...the hero? kill everyone including his harem as if they have no power or hidden ace and the human race depending on one person is unlogical even in the novels, what normal is the protagonist preventing the enemy from using their "nuclear weapons" and the rest of the war is left for the army.

I have a question, if he knew the hero was bad then why not kill him earlier on. why not steal the opportunities and natural treasures since he already knows where and has read the book because if he starts doing those in the second regression then it'll just be stupid and forced
