I didn't read the prologue, since you said that the prologue was brutal, it's useless, and I didn't want to see something brutal for free, so for me this chapter doesn't make any sense, it breaks all immersion in the character I was having so far .

Dude why don't you just delete the prologue? It's way to soon after what just happened and most importantly serves zero purpose in this story. You could remove the chapter and there wwould be no change to the story or his character. Theere is no reason for it to exist.

After thinking a little, the MC might have used his ilusion on that one, since he like using it, it wouldn't be strange. Using illusion to make Toga think he killed the women while he healed her and erased her memory, would be more accurate to his caracter than just killing someone out of nowhere xD.
