This novel was so promising, luckily it only took 30 chapters or so for me to reach a decision to drop this novel. Evil MC's aren't my cup of tea.

If I wasn’t reading this on a free trial I think this would be the drop point. If he is what humanity is depending on to survive then we deserve to end up as a slave race. He’s even worse than the angels, taking out his own failures and hypocrisy on others and yet expecting everything to go his way perfectly. He’s an example of the worst scum of humanity and yet somehow we are expected to believe he will try to save people? He has zero motivation to, I can’t see any reality in which he acts on anything other than self interest which completely defeats the purpose of sending him back in time.
