Well, at first I was disappointed of why the mc is not turning the corpses into his minion then I recalled that the ability has limits. So I'm guessing it will take a while for the mc to make a grand undead army, but I don't mind the slow pace. and since the mc is interested in using blades and has high dexterity stats, the story would probably develop similar to Solo Leveling. this one sets in medieval world though

not alot of power or character development giving how careless and cocky he is something is bound to happen that forcefully strengthens the mc

correct me if I'm wrong. the knife damage is 1 doesn't mean the the damage he can do is 1. he has 15 strength , which was basically forgotten. i don't say 15 strength = 15 damage , but it should be more than 1.
