Crazy theory: Cassie is currently on a mission to find the maker of cohorts altered memories as they have a distinct weave and theyâve also come to the conclusion that there was another person in the nightmare with them given all the evidence. Sheâs seeking out all memory creators and asking them to create a really complex memory and seeing if itâs of the same quality as the altered weaves or better and also of the same essence. Also the way she worded her request and answered him with âin a wayâ gives hint to her ulterior motives.
well, well. the question is if Cassie remembers him or not. or she just saw the same/a similar hint about his birthday like during their first meeting and came to him due to another vision where a memory was mentioned that was forged by the master of the emporium and thats why she went to meet him. i actually have a list of persons who might remember him/his existence. a few of them are more possible then the rest. 1. sovereigns: they have proven that their powers can even influence the spell. so while they probably dont know much about him or have detailed informations about him they might remember that there was once another member in the cohort from the forgotten shore. valor and song have a higher possibility of knowing about him, no clue what asterion is doing. 2. Mordy: he did some strange ritual in the obisidan tower during the second nightmare that enabled him to counter even a sacred oracle aspect. so maybe it can even do more and protectet his memories from the purging of the spell (mind protection). 3. Cassie: she showed in the last nightmare that she predicted so much way earlier then we thought and influenced the plot all along. so i am not confident to rule out that possibility. or she only has some notes by herself for herself left that informed her about Sunny. thats how she worked in the nightmare after all. 4. Jet: she is dead and strange so maybe due being dead the spell did not affect her. i know its unlikely but i would like it if she could remember him and almost nobody else could. 5. Rain: i think she might remember him partly like how you can sometimes not recall a dream and only have a slight hunch what you dreamed about. she was the only one that asked if they knew each other. my guess for this possibility would be that serpent was with her the entire time, even when the spell erased the memories and serpent is (kinda) like a fragment of his soul. so maybe that protected some (fragmented) knowledge. and why would nobody mention that person just diasappeared from the memory of everbody? well this is the answer itself. if something can influence so many people on such a scale, then you investigate it slowly and carefully.
