What were the other secondary functions, I don’t remember
I’ve got an interesting theory: what if in the far future, sunny attempts to learn how fate works and manipulate it to his will. Maybe he goes back to the pyramid in order to learn more about weaver and that bird to do this, and ultimately the way he can make his mark on the world is to fill the gap he created from not having a fate, with his own patchwork version.
I’m also considering the fact that he’s not bound by the spell or fate at all, and will most likely be able to deviate slightly from the natural progression of most. Given enough time I bet he’ll be able to gain some control over the fragment, it’ll just be a matter of practice I think.
Crazy theory: Cassie is currently on a mission to find the maker of cohorts altered memories as they have a distinct weave and they’ve also come to the conclusion that there was another person in the nightmare with them given all the evidence. She’s seeking out all memory creators and asking them to create a really complex memory and seeing if it’s of the same quality as the altered weaves or better and also of the same essence. Also the way she worded her request and answered him with “in a way” gives hint to her ulterior motives.
I’ve seen people theorize this a few times, but honestly I don’t think that’s why he enters the pyramid because this kind of freedom is what he’s worked for since he had hit fated attribute. I think the reason he enters is to somehow take advantage of the weird time situation in order to grow his strength in a short amount of time.
