Effie always had great intuition, she will probably sense that the unassuming master is stronger than her and her meeting is probably with the fire keeper. So she will talk about that to the fire keeper and from that sunny quiet life will be over I think

Every day , I wait for the next chapter with eager anticipation. That’s some fine talent to be able to keep the story so interesting for so long . A masterpiece , and that’s a under statement.

heres my theory on how sunny will reintergrate into the gang i think since jet’s crow isnt really a living being its technically unbound by fate so it will somehow be on a mission to do something else and drag sunny to help whatever big trouble theyre in perhaps much later after hes in it with them he will probablybe given a choice to rebind his own fate to himself to save neph or some such and in an act of love he will retake those chains or somethimg like that

Pretty sure when sunny goes in bastion to act like hes using the teleport he'll be entangled with what i believe is a big mobilisation of troops and he will join them as an awakened. they wil then face a crisis where he will be forced to show his saint powers
