Something that just popped into my head while reading this last chapter. The tomb of Ariel actually belongs to Oblivion. If the father of Little dumplin, whose name can't be remembered has a divine aspect from oblivion wouldn't that make the baby an heir to the tomb? Possibly having some sort of connection?
i am hopeful the baby will make it out of the nightmare. I am also hopeful the baby will come out of it a Saint with a true name. His true name shall be Nightmare Breaker as he was born on the chain breaker in a Nightmare. as Sunless(LostFromLight) was born on a Eclipse and was lost from the sun's light. I know it would make him the youngest Saint but it would be worth the novelty of being born in a Nightmare.
It’s not possible to name the kid after his dad. Also, naming him after something the dad likes would probably end up with his name being any random noun. Like blade or something an awakened would like. So what else means enough to Effie and has impacted her? Forgotten shore, Dark city, her true name, second nightmare, and of course her friends. Food too I guess Really, it’s not for sure that the name would come from these things but this is like me guessing the password to her safe. Just the first things I would think of. With that being said, I think that the name most likely will be mainly inspired by the cohort and something they have, have done, or each share. I’m not gonna guess an actual specific name bc of course I won’t be able to predict what EFFIE is about to come up with. Just where I think it will come from
