if I remember correctly there is one point where the nightmare spell is compared to training wheels allowing for people infected by it to gain power quicker than the original way. We outgrow training wheels though and are able to do more things with a bike because of it. we all know sunny is stronger than most of the same rank so what if he out grew the training wheels already and the line that mentions a chrysalis in this chapter is referring to a sunny who now has his training wheels off and thus an unintentional limiter being released. Neph jumped from dreamer to master, what says sunny can't jump to sovereign?

I think the key word here is chrysalis. emerging from a chrysalis is a sign of change and growth. caterpillars become butterflies after they leave theirs. What's our boi sunny bout to turn into?

I'll be honest. I don't normally do reviews but the fact is this is the only webnovel in my life that I have went back and read over again. it's that good. For a webnovel to be good enough to be enjoyable through multiple read throughs deserves a review. The world building is solid and well thought out. The writer gives you just enough exposition to make both worlds in the story feel real and interesting, making you want to know more with each mystery. The characters have clear defined arcs and believe it or not true character flaws. Too many Webnovels make the perfect MC and the only issues are caused by not talking about what's bothering them. G3 does a phenomenal job of writing relationships and the characters actually talk to each other about what they're feeling or going through. There are growing pains that feel natural without fridging someone. One of my favorite parts of the story is the hard magic system. It's easily understandable and makes readers feel they have a firm grasp on what characters are capable of at the different power levels. I recommend this series to anyone who enjoys weak to strong protagonist, exploration, power levels, and short kings.

well dang there goes my theory that he was gonna use the stifled scream to speak his wish. I did not see that coming. Honestly I thought the sin of solace was gonna become the mad prince somehow and sunny was gonna kill him and get an echo, memory, or lineage upgrade but I am okay with sinny going out with a puff rather than a bang. It feels like it's been forever since Sunny has gotten any fat loot though.

if I remember right the description talks about the power of one's words after having remained silent so long. I believe the plan is to take advantage of that when speaking his wish to the well.

I dunno, I feel like the well isn't going to be what it seems but it will cause sunny to have some epiphany about how they'll need to strength that shadow bond gives him and nephis along with some unforseen boon from the well, maybe a weaver lineage upgrade that ties him closer to fate, then sunny will start another cycle of the nightmare and speed run it with intact memories. I don't think G3 would toss out their fusion power that quickly after we've only really seen it in one major fight. I can see the potential increases to weavers lineage allowing him to utilize the [where is my eye] enchantment of weavers mask or something that allows him to interact with fate strings similar to what he saw in the daggers in the second nightmare but not to that extreme. once they finish the nightmare i can then see shadow bond getting some sort of comprehensive upgrade that balances the scales between him and nephis. I dunno though. this is all purely speculation and theory crafting. ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯
