What a discovery, I was wondering where the moth beasts were nesting. Now we know, hopefully there isn't a tyrant or terror among those Moths that noticed them.

Okay so there are just thousands, maybe millions of great beasts chilling on the inner wall of the great pyramid. But why? I mean why not, yeah I get that, but what really is the point? Is it so that everyone in the pyramid is forced to learn the truth? So that they cannot escape without being caught in the loop? I don’t know, if just seems odd, it could be a nod to the butterfly effect in some way, as we are dealing with a time loop. But why it would be expressed in this way, I have no idea. Also does the pyramid have more than one like “area” in it? They are “outside” of the great river because they can look at it and it’s shape in it’s entirety. That makes sense. But they are also looking at the inside of the walls of the pyramid. So is this dark area literally just the inside of the massive pyramid, or a different dimension also created by the spell, that also has another dimension for the great river?
