Can we appreciate Sunny’s growth? He went from a suicidal and cynical person to a selfless individual that has become a bastion of self sacrifice all the while helping his pregnant friend in a death zone. What a character 🫡

this nightmare became much more important for sunny. boys, gunna have so much personal growth. It's gonna be scary. that chainbraker is gonna have to fly and pick Effie up.

So my best guess is Sunny has to enter the tower at this point in order to either trigger a checkpoint or leave the island with Jet and come back on the other side near Effie

I hate to say it but what if the fact of effie being pregnant and the state of how sunny found those unborn butterfly eggs are somehow connected?

Shouldn’t sunny be spamming the reward he got from unlocking his shadow ability due to it being reset now? I Know G3 remembers it but sunny should have tried using it multiple times by now. He’s literally died!

Okay at first, I thought the world was ending and was kinda sad that Effie was pregnant. It just seemed wrong. But I also recently became an uncle myself, so I think that makes this a lot easier from that perspective. I missed Effie a lot man, favorite character by far.

So uh, what happens if the child is birthed before they complete the nightmare? Like, will it also be counted as a challenger and be given some kind of reward?

I'm not questioning the author's skill, but whenever I read a novel and the author decides to add a baby into the story, the novel becomes extremely boring. 💀 Especially when there are countless chapters of the protagonist taking care of the stupid baby, I always abandon the novel. But I choose to believe in G3, he never disappoints. Let him cook. Fortunately, it is not Sunny's child. Or I would lose hope.

I just thought about something. If the baby is born within the Nightmare, what happens to him ? Does he become a challenger too ? Will he be a Riverborn ? In anyway that doesn't sound really good 😔
