Perfect, just perfect conclusion to a volume! Reading this daily has been a lot of joy. I have so much thoughts to what might unfold in the next volume so I’ll just summarize my expectations and hopes. 1. I believe the whole nightmares is going to consist of the reason for the war and what occurred. War is never a short endeavor thus this might take the majority of the next volume, if not all. War takes place in phases, starting with intel gathering, to skirmishes to full blown battles. 2. 13 million is definitely a quantity to ponder on. I think it’ll be between the number of ascended that took part in the war or total number of Sybils that found solace in the pyramids. Anyway, we would either find out very early on what the spell is smoking or it’s a red herring for both the readers and characters. We’ll see soon enough. 3. If this is a war as I think it’ll be, we’re looking at years possibly for the completion of the nightmare. G3 has been very good at not alluding anything regarding the duration of Trancendent seeds at all. Cassie also reinforced this notion reminding Sunny to contact Rain. It also was verified that Obel was on the money. 3 categories 4 gates correlates to 3 divine aspect holders. Sunny and Nephis are definitely coming out as Trancendent Titans and maybe Mordret too but he lost all of his Mirrors. 4. The waking world is doomed and the story is definitely going to pick up pace. So forget about the idea of keeping the characters somewhat weak. We still have the Trancendent, Supreme, Sacred, and Divine to go. We had a mass exodus of Antártica, the next will be the waking world for sure. The need for more citadels is going to be crucial. Hence, why the sovereigns had long forsaken the waking world. More awaken will result in more competition for space and thus we can expect more expeditions to those death zone. 5. I expect to see Rain POV and possibly her nightmare.
Another thing to think about… is Sunny going to completely go against fate in this nightmare? I’m betting he’ll do everything in his power to complete the nightmare in a way that doesn’t repeat history like he did in the second. It’s clear that the more against fate, the higher the spell awards you in a nightmare. I’m so excited for this!!

While waiting anxiously for new chapters of Sunny's Brilliant Adventures here, I read Free Fall and was not disappointed until I realized that there was no more to read.I even named my new black car "Sunless" with a plate to match. You are my word-dealer and I am an addict.
The 13 million could just be the challengers who’ve challenged that seed over the years. They said you could join a seed at anytime, and if it’s almost completed you ascend. What happens if people from many worlds challenge the same seed but never complete it? Then you’d be the latest one in… say 13 million?
