I love that they are all getting this moment with each other. Things have been rough on them lately.

I would love for a blooming moment between Nephis and Sunny… I know they have a twisted relationship but I definitely still hope for more emotion and dependency between them!

Nice levity after the last chapter. Neph is still a Mongrel fan I see. She doesn’t show affection to Sunny normally, but I suppose she’s still keeping up with him in other ways. Kinda cute. I like that Kai and Effie were here for this bit, it felt like nice natural banter. The bit at the end about the dream world being nicer than the waking was quite nice. It really contrasts with how things were in his first nightmare and the forgotten shore. Sunny has come a long way and at some point, the dream world became familiar vs the politics and war that’s going on outside. It seems like we’ll get some answers about the monster in the lake and this arc will get a bit of action. I’m still praying for some more Nephis + Sunny interactions 🙏 As much as I like Effie and Kai, their convos are always more whimsical, where Sunny and neph still need so much growth.
