anything else think she might have triggered him with the escape fate thing to push him towards choosing his own path ? after all the "I know you better than anyone else" is sus to me. she did something similar at the end of the forgotten shore where she setup the situation to make it easier for sunny to fight her and escape.is this a repeat of that ?
why is he mad? didn't she say what he wanted to hear that she won't force him to do anything. I get that there is a risk that she goes back on her words or that valor control her and transitively him, but his situation didn't change compared to before the talk. it seems he is just venting his bottled up frustration for being a slave.
