Beautiful mini arc flashback conclusion! Always getting chills with SS

I really like the theme going in here shadows and light. the stronger the light the darker the shadow and her being changing star it's as if they can't exist without each other.

he probably encountered something dreadful during the separation and nearly died without anyone knowing...but he's alive in the present he had overcome it... i feel like neph really needs sunny in some way seeing when sunny went away in separate direction she's telling him to go back ... *me making assumptions*

Although the story stagnated a bit in this flashback and was a bit slow, this arc planted seeds in the characters and gave us a glimpse of their personalities and how they will behave later on. Overall, it was still enjoyable. Looking forward to what's to come.

Honestly I've got to say that these few chapters has been my favorite part of this novel. Sometimes just characters talking and voicing their concerns, goals and needs after all they've been through it's all you need to keep us engage. The banter between Sunny and Neph was brilliantly done! I'm falling more and more in love with this piece of art, keep up the good work author!

Okay. Wow. That was great btw. So, after the end of the chapter, for some reason I only had a single thought. Maybe Cassia knew Sunny would leave from her visions, but not the reason (like Harper getting killed)? Hopefully that's the case. Jeez. I really don't know why I'm so hung up on being suspicious of Cassia.

Great arc. Both Sunny and Neph are teetering on the verge of a vision which both think is inevitable. At least we know Neph’s driving force. She wants to end the nightmare for everyone.

Let's be honest Nephis' goal is so out there that a normal person will have did the same thing Sunny did, walking away. As a reader, it's overwhelming.

We might see how the shadow knight almost kills him
