Why is the story suddenly so goofy?? They are terrified of him bc of the power he displayed yet then they start an argument and assume he touched the goddess when nothing she said would make anyone with a brain be lead to that conclusion. Author ik u are trying to be funny but you are doing a shit job, it doesnt even fit the mc's personality to suddenly become an idiot. "'Archmages are the only people capable of shifting elements from one to the other. This guy is interesting.', Haera thought." Also wtf is this? His magic root lets him use all affinities and shift elements yet you are telling me more ppl can do that exact thing??? Thought he was unique but apparently the second you become strong you can do what his magic root of DIVINE GRADE allows him to do... I dont understand the power system at all to be completely honest as well, There are just too many contradictions especially how ppl who should be stronger than the mc (ppl of higher teirs) are so easily impressed that he can kill the weakest of monstersđ. But yeah my main point is the mc originally wasnt really to interesting and seemed pretty lackluster and it seems you noticed it and then decided "Let me make him interesting" but in the most cliche, annoying, frustrating way ever. Idk what i expected from this LN but i was wrong for expecting anything grand.
I'm sorry but you are the clown here. If you are reading the chapters properly, it is his mask that control his emotions to an extent that he doesn't act like an idiot. And no, I'm not trying to be funny. I'm displaying the MC's true self when he isn't wearing the mask and see how it differs from the standpoint of him when he is acting as the academy master. Also, everyone can shift if and only if they understand the mysteries of magic itself. That's why she said only archmages. Bro, they are called ARCHMAGES for a reason, the pinnacle of magic cultivation as introduced ON THIS WORLD. If they can't do jackass shit like that, they wouldn't become archmages. Moreover, I haven't even discussed in depth on the various details like the power system, political system, and other information at this early of a chapter or else you would then complain that I'm info dumping which is also boring. I can be as in depth as you like but I'm afraid you are not at the level to comprehend the complexity of my magic system, or even the background story of the MC himself.
